GroundsCost terms of service
Plain-language conditions for tender reviews and estimates.
Scope
GroundsCost provides decision-support analysis for grounds-maintenance tenders. A free health check highlights selected headline issues. A full analysis may include workload extraction, assumptions, commercial risks and editable estimating outputs as agreed for the particular commission.
Professional judgement
Outputs depend on the documents and assumptions supplied. They support—not replace—the contractor’s own review and approval. GroundsCost does not guarantee that a bid will be compliant, successful or profitable and does not provide legal, tax or procurement advice.
Customer responsibilities
You must be authorised to share submitted documents, provide accurate business inputs and review the resulting assumptions before using them. Unnecessary personal information should be removed from documents before upload.
Fees and commencement
The free health check is provided without charge. Any paid work, scope, fee and expected turnaround will be confirmed before paid analysis begins. No payment is taken merely by submitting an enquiry or tender pack.
Changes and cancellation
If the documents or requested scope change materially, GroundsCost may revise the agreed fee or turnaround before continuing. Cancellation and any refund position will depend on work already completed and will be confirmed fairly in writing.
Confidentiality and files
Submitted tender documents are not published and are handled in line with the Privacy Notice. GroundsCost may retain working records needed to deliver and evidence the service, subject to the stated retention periods.
Opportunity information
Opportunity listings are discovery aids assembled from public procurement sources. Buyers may amend or withdraw notices. The official notice and procurement documents are always authoritative.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, GroundsCost is not responsible for procurement decisions, bid outcomes or losses arising from customer-supplied errors, omitted documents, buyer changes or use of outputs without appropriate contractor review.
